Our Story

Founders Collection — Complete Kitchen and Bath Salt Set, Six Products

Meet the Founders

Two brothers. One belief.

Syed Hashir and Syed Ali founded The Rites of Salt on a conviction that salt — the most universal ingredient in the world — deserved to be treated as nutrition, not a disposable commodity. What began as a shared obsession with one of nature's purest minerals became a commitment to protect the land, the people, and the process that produces it.

Every certification we hold — Halal, Kosher, GMP Compliant, Non-GMO, and Gluten-Free — exists as documented proof of that conviction. Not marketing. Proof.

Origin & Sourcing

Your "British" bath salt was dug in Kalabagh, Pakistan — in the Punjab Salt Range — sold to a UK importer, marked up, and wrapped in a Union Jack. We skipped that. We go direct to source — cutting out unnecessary middlemen. Tested at source, shipped from Manchester, receipt attached. Direct to you isn't a tagline — it's the supply chain.

Bath Rituals

Beyond the kitchen, we extend the same care into how people relax and unwind. Our pink Himalayan and Epsom bath salts turn an ordinary soak into a small ritual — a slower, warmer end to the day.

Sustainability & Family Values

Sustainability is not a feature — it is a responsibility. We're working to make our packaging biodegradable, recyclable and plastic-free across the range, built on the belief that the earth is a partner, not a resource. Our products are never animal-tested, and our practices are guided by care for the land that gives us this salt.
