This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through theritesofsalt.com.
UK DELIVERY CHARGES
Standard UK delivery costs £2.99.
Free standard UK delivery is available on qualifying orders of £18.99 or more. Your applicable delivery charge will be displayed at checkout before payment.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are normally prepared and dispatched within 1–2 working days after payment has been successfully received.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
Orders placed during weekends, bank holidays, promotional periods or particularly busy periods may require additional processing time.
ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME
Standard UK delivery normally takes 2–4 working days after dispatch.
The total estimated time from placing your order to receiving it is therefore approximately 3–6 working days.
Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Delays may occasionally occur because of carrier disruption, severe weather, public holidays, industrial action or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
ORDER CONFIRMATION AND TRACKING
You will receive an order confirmation at the email address supplied during checkout.
When your order has been dispatched, we will send a dispatch confirmation. Tracking information will be provided where the selected delivery service includes tracking.
DELIVERY ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address during checkout.
Please contact info@theritesofsalt.com as soon as possible if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after fulfilment has started or the order has been dispatched.
We are not responsible for delays caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
If an order is returned to us because the address was incorrect, incomplete or the parcel was not collected, we will contact you regarding the available redelivery or refund options. Additional delivery costs may apply where legally permitted.
DELIVERY DESTINATIONS
The delivery destinations currently available will be shown during checkout. If Shopify does not offer delivery to the address entered, we are unable to accept the order for that destination.
DELAYED OR MISSING ORDERS
If your order has not arrived within 7 working days after receiving your dispatch confirmation, please contact:

Please include your full name and order number so that we can investigate with the delivery provider.
DAMAGED PARCELS OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied, contact info@theritesofsalt.com as soon as reasonably possible and provide:
• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Photographs of the item and packaging where appropriate
We will review the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
RETURNS
Customers must contact us before returning any product. Return eligibility and instructions are explained in our Return and Refund Policy.
